Michael Hartman Math Tutoring

As a recent graduate of MIT with a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, I am proficient in all forms of high school math including Geometry, Algebra 1-2, Trigonometry, and Calculus 1-2. My work requires I keep a keen knowledge of these subjects as I use them nearly everyday to design products and review stress profiles. I make sure my students have a throrough understanding of the high level concepts of the subject matter, then move to attack the detailed information that will be present in homework or tests.

For me, math is not a subject, it is a language. The language of the physical world and the absolute truth of all things. I love explaining this language to my students and to watch as they come to a further understanding of the world around them and how math is interweaved into everything. From the products we use on a daily basis, to the steps we take every day.
