About
Hello! I am an elementary school reading teacher who is trained in high quality intervention based instruction. I have access to the best resources and have knowledge about the best processes to help your student succeed the fastest. I have a teaching license in the state of Ohio and for preschool to third grade and have an additional reading certification for k-12.
I love to help children grow in literacy. Working closely with them to create a plan for success and implementing this plan together is something that I enjoy greatly. Making sure each child has access to high quality reading instruction is something I believe in fully. I hope to be able to work with your learner to foster a love for reading and help them succeed!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will sit down with the student and family and determine what the areas of greatest concern are. Then, I will assess the student to gain insight into where we can begin instruction. Next, I will create a plan based on the assessment information and the conversation with the family and student. I will check in regularly with progress updates and adjustments to the plan as needed.
