I love to see my students come out of a session having a greater understanding of the material. As a college student myself, I learn best when a tutor or instructor explains how to solve a problem in a variety of ways, not just one. This is what I want to bring to you! I have 2 years of experience tutoring online and a younger brother in middle school who I help with homework. English is my strong suit and I also have some experience in math. I currently hold my associate's degree in liberal arts with journalism, sociology, and film studies.
I want to make learning a fun environment by implementing activities and tasks to fit their skill level.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first introduce myself, I get to know the student, then I talk with the student about the subject matter that they need help with, and I determine what teaching styles will best suit their needs. I don't assign homework or practice time outside of our session, but I do have the student work on practice questions during the session to ensure they feel confident.

My sessions cost $15 per hour.
