What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Tutoring begins with a criterion reference assessment to collect baseline data on where the students current level of functioning. Once current levels are determined, the areas of improvement will be established and tutoring will begin. After 8 weeks a present levels assessment will be conducted to determine the students current level of functioning after instruction.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a fully licensed and credentialed speech and language pathologists. I have worked with students in grades K-12 with a variety of academic needs.
