What is your typical process for working with a new student?

For beginners who like to learn English from A, I usually divide my session into three sections: a section in which a student learn new words related to a specific theme, a section for speaking and using those words in functional communicative situations, and a section for language focus during which the student learn some basic grammar rules. After each session, a homework is assinged to the students for more practice and exposure to the new lesson.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I got my BA degree in English studies from the faculty of arts and humanities and a Master's degree in applied linguistics and English language teaching. I also received several trainings in ELT methods and approaches as well as in the use of ICTs i education.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

This is a partial job for me; therefore, I don't like to charge my students a lot. My prices ranges from $15 to $25 per hour, depending on the student's English learning goal and level ($15 for beginners and intermediate students and $25 for students who want to grow professionally.)

How did you get started teaching?

I have started teaching English officially since 2008. I had a long experience teaching English offline as well as online. And throughout this period, I have developed a lot of teaching materials that will help my students practice English and understand their course better.

What types of students have you worked with?

I work with both young and adult learners whose native language is Arabic or French.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I am a professionaly teacher who received professional training and still benifit from contintuous professional development. Therefore, if you want to learn English the right way, I recommend you to look for a professional tutor who is acquainted with English language theories, methods, teaching skills and strategies, and approaches

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Before hiring a tutor, I recommend you to think of your native language as well as your English level and learning goal.
