About
Hello! My name is Patrick and I love learning and especially teaching others new and useful knowledge and helping them understand.
Currently, I am a freshman at Penn State majoring in aerospace engineering and minoring in astrophysics. I am also a rower for the Penn State Crew.
I have always loved the sciences because of their interesting and useful hidden applications in the real world and it's honestly something I find a lot of joy in learning and especially teaching.
I have taken all High School math courses grades 9-12, all at the honors level and both AP Calculus AB (Calc I) with AP Statistics. I am currently enrolled in Calculus II at my university.
I've taken both Earth Science and Biology at honors, as well as AP Chemistry and Regents Physics; currently enrolled in PSU Physics and Astronomy.
For engineering, I have taken DDE, Java, and Principles of Engineering; have also taken AP Computer Science.
While my main area of expertise is in STEM courses, I do have experience in humanities as well.
I have taken both AP World and U.S. History (scoring 4 on the exams) and AP English Languge and Composition (scoring a 5).
My goal is to spread my love and interest for math and the sciences to those who don't see it in the same light I do, find it useless, or are just struggling and need deserved help. Put simply, I love math and don't want to see others dread their next math test.
Put simply, pretty basic math and physics can teach you how to completely destroy in kiddy bowling with the ramp. I’d say that’s a good reason to learn math.
