Mathematics Tutoring
About
Hello! My name is Eli. I finished my PhD in mathematics at University of Albany (UAlbany) in New York. I have been accepted at the University of Utah for a three year research postdoctoral position in mathematics, where I will teach and continue my research. My area of expertise is in the overlap of the fields Operator Algebras and Geometric Group Theory. I have quite a few research articles published in professional journals of mathematics with many more research articles currently being written, and I have presented my research at conferences and seminars at various universities across the US.
I have taught and tutored at UAlbany since 2018. At UAlbany, I have taught precalculus and calculus many times, and I have tutored precalculus, probability and statistics, and calculus I, II, and III. Outside of UAlbany, I have tutored in the subjects precalculus, probability and statistics, calculus (I, II, and III), differential equations, linear algebra, group theory, ring theory, module theory, real analysis, complex analysis, and functional analysis, discrete mathematics, graph theory, and combinatorics.
I would be delighted to help you with understanding and navigating mathematics. Feel free to reach out for more information.
