I am a Freshman in College and I want to help your child reach that academic success that he/she strives for. As a student myself, I know what will be enjoyable as well as academically beneficial and understand the proper way kids would like to be taught. I wanted to use my summer time to help kids who want to take that extra stretch to further their academics and can not wait for you to sign up.
While I was growing up I wish there was somebody that I could go to and get a little ahead in academics. I have always strived to excel in school but it was hard to arrange private tutor sessions, not to mention the large costs of some of the tutors. Thus, my work would allow me to be that figure I never had. Plus, nothing beats enthusiasm and interest that comes out of teaching and learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I would like to get a little insight into the student's hobbies and things they enjoy. This will allow me to not only create a custom lesson plan geared toward the student but also to create a friendly and open environment between the student and myself. The strengths and weaknesses of the students would also be much appreciated so I can create the best possible plans for the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have created a tutoring program for the students of my School District where my colleagues and I have amassed over 70 tutoring hours since the beginning of the program in May of 2020. Furthermore, I am one of the top students of my grade and am very educated in the topics I will be tutoring.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
One thing I want to focus on is affordability for families so my price per lesson is very flexible. Money isn't the driving factor in my work, it is the experience of teaching and educating students with my knowledge. So, I would be willing to work with a price that is comfortable for the family.
How did you get started teaching?
I have helped my friends with their homework or study the night before a big test, but I think my real drive for teaching started with this unfortunate global pandemic which opened my eyes to the education deficit that would plague our younger students at this time. And instead of letting it happen, I want to take part in doing something about it.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages and levels of academics. Whether it's my friends that need a refresher in a topic that was taught in class or my neighbors that are struggling with their elementary homework, I always try to find a way to provide help, no matter the identity of the clients.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The establishment of an online educational program in my school district is a recent event I have been lucky to be a part of. As high school students, me and two of my colleagues set out to create an online platform that would aid students and help parents make sure their kids remained sharp academically in this time of unpredictablity and unfortunate circumstance.
