Hello! My name is Emily Fitzgerald. I am a New York State Certified teacher, and hold a certification in B-6. I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Education (1-6), and my Master of Science degree in Literacy Education (B-6).
I am currently a 3rd grade teacher. I have taught 3rd grade for 2 years, but also have experience in all grades K-6. One of my favorite things about being a teacher is helping students become active participants in their own learning. I place a high value on the importance of individual learning. I also believe it is important for students to become problem solvers. This, along with technology use, will further help prepare students to achieve success.
