R2D2 Tutor

I tutor via the Socratic method - the method allows the student to use analysis and logical reasoning to get to the answer. Students are being forced to build the underlying skill set and foundation as opposed to just getting the answer. In my opinion, understanding the why is critical to the learning process. I believe in building the skill set as it’s a tool that can be leveraged as one grows.

I have tutored students of all disciplines and ages from elementary school to law school and even for professional licenses like real estate and law. I have also tutored international students studying both in America and abroad - this has helped me expand my teaching and communication style. During the first session, I strive to learn about my student and how they learn and I adjust my teaching methodology based on what I believe will be the most efficient way for the student to learn. I’ve found success in this as I believe every student learns differently (on a personal note, I had to teach myself growing up because the standard process didn’t work for me).
