About
I'm an MIT undergrad and have 4+ years of tutoring experience with Pre K-12 kids, college students, and adults. I’ve successfully helped students master subjects by figuring out core issues and tackling them head-on, and can definitely help you.
• MATH: I've scored a 5 (out of 5) in AP Calculus BC, have earned an 800 (out of 800) on the Math II SAT, and have taken Multivariable Calculus (Calculus 3).
• ACT/SAT: I’m a National Merit Finalist, having scored in the top 1% in the country for the PSAT out of +2 million students, and have earned a top 1% score nationally for the ACT.
• AP/SCHOOL CLASSES: I’m a National AP Scholar, earned the AP Capstone Diploma, took 13 AP classes, and graduated in the top 5% of my class
• COLLEGE ADMISSIONS: I’ve been granted full-ride scholarships to MIT and Emory; accepted to Duke, USC, UVA, and more; and am a Questbridge National College Match Finalist.
I always start sessions with an acuity to comfort, making sure students are enjoying sessions. I am a staunch believer in enriching life through education, hoping to pass on the same appreciation to all of my students.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I'm a listener, always (my friends know this about me). I will start off with open-ended, comfortable questions to gauge what practical things a student wants, but also what their ultimate goals and visions are. From there, it's typically easy to cater the class specifically for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a MIT Mech Engineering Undergrad with 4+ years of tutoring experience.

How did you get started teaching?
I love sharing with people! Simple as that. It is so exciting to me to understand a concept and provide any wisdom that I can to help others. It's always been in my nature, from the smallest interaction of teaching how to eat spicy food to a rigorous lesson on 3D differential calculus.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students from the entire breadth of the Pre K-12 spectrum, college students, and adults preparing for career-entrance exams.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
See who fits your vibe! Some of the most qualified people can be terrible teachers to some people. Really do read into the nuances in the way they display themselves and pick from there.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do I value? Why do I need a tutor? What specific weaknesses do I have?
