About
I am currently a student in the Watson School of Engineering at Binghamton University, where I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I have two younger siblings, who are currently in Calculus 1 and Algebra 2, and I have been helping them with math for as long as I can remember. I'm very passionate about making sure that everyone understands math and its applications, and believe it is a valuable tool in that everyone should be able to utilize. I am familiar with the material in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus 1 and Calculus 2. I want to make sure everyone can do well and gets a good foundation in math, especially during this strange moment in education that has resulted from online learning.
I genuinely enjoy helping others to learn and am passionate about teaching math. I aim to help simplify complicated problems and make sure that all my students have a good grasp of the material and thoroughly understand what they are learning.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would typically ask to get to know the student a little bit during the first session and find out what they are currently studying in school and what they might be struggling with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have previously worked as an SAT tutor and frequently tutor my younger and peers with anything that they are struggling with. I have excelled in math throughout highschool and have taken every math up through Calculus 2/Integral Calculus. I am currently taking Multivariable Calculus.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I would charge $20 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I have younger siblings and have been tutoring them with any problems they have for as long as I can remember. I also tutor my peers and tutored other high school students when I was in school through math programs at my high school.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise the student to be prepared with the material they want to go over during the lessons.
