I make it a point to make the students feel as comfortable as possible and hopefully get them to learn what they need to know and maybe even begin to like the subject.
I love to see my students improve their skills while they are working with me. I did not like math very much and that changed because of a tutor, so that is what I strive to do.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Usually I like to get to know the new student a little. One reason is I believe we should know about each others intrest and how they like to learn. Second is that I can take the things that they share with me and hopefully am able to use them to help them understand what it is they are learning
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently an Economic and Mathematics major at Lehman College. Before entering college I was tutoring at my high school in all subjects but usually math. I tutored for about 2 years there.
