I am a stay at home Mom with a masters degree in elementary education 1-6 and students with disabilities. I miss working with children. I can't go back full time so I td like to work with a child one on one.
As a child I struggled in school. I truly understand what it feels like, therefore, I love helping children find that key to unlock their struggles and thrive! I am new to tutoring, but I confident I can help. I enjoy working one to one!
The ease and we were very lucky to have such a kind, patient tutor!!!
She was very patient and offered a lot of guidance. Explanations were given so that a person could understand. She was attentive and reliable!
She was very kind and helpful. Easy to follow her instructions.
She is very patient and kind and articulate. She has helped me with reading and comprehension.
First I like to get to know the student. I like to learn about hobbies and interests, likes and dislikes. I like to talk with the student and get his or her perspective on what they are having trouble with.
I have a Masters Degree in Childhood Education, 1-6 as well as Students with Disabilities.
I do not.
I started as a teachers aid ad I was going to school. I most enjoyed working one to one.
I have worked in both mainstream and Special Ed settings.
My fondest memory was working as a one to one aid with an autistic child mainstreaming into a regular Ed class.
The mort important thing is a students comfort and connection. There must be a certain level of trust and comfort. It needs to be the right fit.
