Jayne's Early Learning
About
To whom it may concern,
As you will note, my life experience is centered around working with and
helping children from all walks of life.
I began my career as a New York City teacher in the public school system.
I raised my family in the Scarsdale Schools and for several years served as
a volunteer classroom teacher aid. At the appropriate time, when my
children were more independent, I returned to teaching as a substitute in
the south Bronx. The dire financial circumstances in the New York City
Board of Education precluded an opportunity for me to return as a teacher.
My Scarsdale community work raising funds for after school activities led
me to a fundraising career. This career began after seven years of
substitute teaching. Thus, I began my career as a fundraiser helping
children and their families facing challenging life circumstances
