I am a NYS certified math teacher for grade 7-12 majoring in math and statistics at Stony Brook University. I have a strong background in math that can benefit students learning. My teaching technique was very effective to resolve the problems many students had. helping them understand the concepts clearly and teaching problem solving skills in a various way to fit their individual need was successful for students to accelerate their math skills. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I evaluate students level and learning styles for first session and bascically help them with problmes based on what they learned in school and problems they have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied secondary math education for grade 7-12 for my master degree and tought math in middle school for 7 years. I also have worked at Huntington Learning Center for 5 years and have been tutorig all math from elementary up to college level for over 10 years.
