About
Hello! My name is Poojan Pandya. I'm from Long Island, NY and attending Stanford University in the fall. I am deeply passionate about helping my students reach their goals and learning from them along the way. I have developed testing strategies to help students easily pick apart the exams they are trying to tackle. I have used these strategies to obtain 99th percentile scores on the PSAT, SAT, and ACT as well as 5s on 7 AP exams to date—and I am eager to share them with you as well!
My favorite part of my job is, without a doubt, seeing the smile on students faces when their scores improve!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I meet with a new student, I'll always have an initial video conference consultation with the student and parents to learn more about the student's goals and get to know him/her as a person and a learner. From here, we'll determine how frequently we should work together and the most convienient method. During this initial consultation, I will also show the student my methods for tutoring virtually and work out any technical issues.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a high school senior who will be attending Stanford University in the fall. I am the Salutatorian of my graduating class and have scored in the 99th percentile on the PSAT, SAT, and ACT.

How did you get started teaching?
When I was preparing for the SAT and ACT, I developed testing strategies and tactics as well as studying strategies for myself that helped me acheive near perfect scores. When I started to help a few of my friends and neighbors study for their exams using the same strategies, I watched their scores skyrocket as well. I finally came to the realization that the SAT, ACT, and every other test is beatable! You just need the right strategies. I began tutoring to teach students how to tackle their academics the right way and achieve or even surpass their goals.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages from middle school through high school. I have also worked with multiple students who suffer from learning disabilities. I have helped students with SAT/ACT, AP classes, Honors classes, and Middle School Math and English.
