About this tutor

I am a dedicated and passionate teacher/tutor for math and science with proven results. My bachelor's degree is in physics and biochemistry with a minor in math, so I can do it all. My scores are below, but more important is how I have helped other people reach their goals at the high school and college level over the past 10 years. I have tutored everything from algebra and high school physics to advanced college courses. Many students have cited me as the reason they passed a course or met a standardized test goal. I care about students, and will put in the effort to ensure students understand the how and why of solving problems.

I scored a 1590 on the SAT an 800 on the math 2 subject test, an 800 on the chemistry subject test, and a 780 on the physics subject test. I scored a 5 on 17 AP exams including Calculus BC, physics B, both physics C exams, Biology, Chemistry, Statistics, and Computer Science. I scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT and am in my last year of medical school.

I love seeing students understand concepts they never thought they could. I even more love seeing students achieve goals they never thought they would. Passing a course you need to finish high school, getting into your dream college, even getting to go to medical school. Those dreams matter to you, and they matter to me. I have had the pleasure of seeing those dreams come true.

I don’t know if I would have passed physics without Aaron. He was a massive help. He has the material (and so much more) mastered and he will help you master it too.

Aaron is the reason I got into medical school. He is so smart and so patient. You will not be disappointed if you hire him.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I want to work with students where they are at and get them where they need to go. If a student needs help in a specific area, I will begin by asking them to work on a problem in that area and guiding them through the process. We can repeat this for each type of problem until the student can do problems with confidence. If more general tutoring is desired, we can assess areas of strength and weakness before deciding what areas to focus on first.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a certified tutor with a bachelor's degree in physics and biochemistry and a minor in math.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge by the hour- hourly rate is negotiable based on the subject.
