Hi, I'm William - a math tutor with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Data Science. Numbers have always been the way I make sense of the world, and I love helping students find that same clarity.

I started tutoring during the pandemic, teaching math over Zoom for a year. Working remotely taught me how to keep students engaged through a screen, break big problems into small, manageable steps, and adjust my pace to fit each learner rather than rushing through a one-size-fits-all script.

What I love most is the moment something clicks. When a student stops dreading a topic and starts feeling capable. My background in data science shapes how I teach: I approach every lesson like a problem to solve, first pinpointing where the confusion actually lives, then building a clear path forward from there.
