Math Nerd Tutoring

I have my BS in Mathematics and my MAT (Masters of Arts for Teachers) in Mathematics both from Indiana University. In addition, I have a graduate certificate in Online Learning and Assessment also from Indiana University. In the Fall 2026, I am starting the graduate certificate program in Computer Science at Indiana University. I would like to pursue a doctrine in education degree (EdD) in Technology Education.

I reside in the Buffalo, NY area where I am flexible with either online sessions or meeting in public places if you are in the Buffalo, NY area.

While I have not taught at a school atmosphere, I have done one-on-one tutoring with individuals in college algebra, calculus 1 and 6th grade math. I am looking to pursuit a teaching position at the college level teaching lower level math.

I want students to know that, I understand that there can be struggles in math and I too have had struggles in math as well. I want students to freely ask questions whatever they maybe. I want student to make mistakes and during sessions we will work through the mistakes. I want to encourage students to go through the steps of working through a problem as there may be multiple ways to solve a math problem. Most importantly, students should not feel embarrassed to ask for help
