About
I am a high school math teacher with experience in educational technology, including interactive whiteboards, creation of tutoring videos, and use of on-screen calculators to assist with tutoring from a distance.
I aim to make math fun (or at least tolerable) for students who struggle through the use of humor and a lighthearted approach.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I generally like to dive right in to whatever assignment the student is currently working on (if applicable), making adjustments as necessary. I also spend some time at the end of the first session discussing the student's goals, struggles, etc. to help determine what direction our future sessions will take.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.S. Mathematics
Adv. Certificate (graduate level) - Mathematics Education (7-12)
M.S.Ed Differentiated Instruction (Students w/ Disabilities) (7-12)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I generally charge $40 per hour-long session for middle-school and high-school students, and $50 per session for college students or high school students taking college-level courses. I am open to negotiation of larger packages (multiple sessions per week, 10-session commitment, etc.) if desired.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages and levels of comfort with math. I am equally comfortable working with struggling students looking to pass a course as I am working with college-level students looking to achieve an A.
