About
I have been teaching students of various age ranges. I don't have a set teaching style; I adjust it according to the student's age, needs, and personality. Because I have ample experience, I have an own set of curriculum for teaching English reading and writing according to student's age or grade level.
I love that I can see my students grow and improve. I feel like I grow with them personally also. As I teach my students and help them with their academics, I also get the opportunity to learn more things than I would if I did not teach students. I believe that in society, social skills are a must. Through interacting with students, I am still learning day by day how to provide the right service for the right person.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start off by having a Zoom session with the student to figure out exactly what the student needs. The initial consultation will be of no charge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a student at New York University, majoring in Film and Television. I also work at an education management company where I have been the main instructor for over a year. I teach students, mostly in high school and college, English writing, reading, and social studies. Because they are students who want to transfer or attend higher-level institutions, I also teach Duolingo, IELTS, and TOEFL.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I tend to have the price fixed to the minimum working wage of New York City. The price is set according to the student's age and what they need.
How did you get started teaching?
I started out tutoring and teaching part-time while I was in Korea. There, I taught students ranging from kindergarteners to middle school students basic English reading and writing as a second language.
What types of students have you worked with?
I currently teach many students who attend elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. I adjust to the student's personality and style.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A student of mine who I taught for about two years, got into a college that she wanted. For Christmas, she gave me a present thanking me for helping her throughout. I feel worthy as a teacher because I grow with the students.
