My goal is to help students understand and enjoy the subject. As a college student, i understand that school isn't always easy or linear and that each student needs to have their studies individualized.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When meeting a new student, i like to get to know them-
what sports do you play? what do you enjoy to do in your free time?
I then like to discuss the challenges, dislikes and likes about the class as well as how the student feels about tutoring. It's important to me that the student feels important and valued not belittled.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm currently majoring in respiratory therapy. I've taken AP english, history and sciences. I've also taken an advanced medical program where i had clinical hours in a variety of settings.
