About
Hi, I’m Max!
As a mathematics and physics double major at the University of Nevada, Reno, I’ve cultivated an understanding of math from both applied and theoretical perspectives. I earned straight A’s in single-variable and multivariable real analysis, which rigorously develop the foundational logic behind calculus concepts such as limits, continuity, derivatives, integrals, and infinite series. This experience has given me insights on how math can be approached from a variety of perspectives.
Since 2022, I’ve worked as a private tutor for high school and college students in algebra and calculus. I believe that anyone can succeed in math with the right explanation tailored to their way of thinking. Many students find traditional math instruction difficult to follow, and I’ve found success by offering patient, personalized guidance that meets each student where they are. Whether you're preparing for exams or trying to truly understand the subject, I aim to make math not just manageable, but meaningful.
My approach combines that of traditional learning with a focus on clarifying concepts that is tailored to a student’s needs. Every student learns differently, and I’m passionate about helping others not only overcome obstacles but grow confident in their problem-solving abilities. If you're looking for a tutor who can adapt to your needs and make math feel approachable and exciting, I’d love to work with you.
