About
Hi, I'm Miss Bethany — an award-winning educator with over a decade of teaching experience. I founded Bold and Bright Academy because I saw too many kids falling through the cracks, so I set out to build a program that fosters confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. I'm a former public school teacher, Orton-Gillingham trained, and Nevada's 2023 Early Childhood Educator of the Year! My classroom is a fun, low-stress environment where we celebrate our mistakes just as much as our wins. I have a passion for teaching kids to read and would love to work with you!
What I offer:
~1-on-1 tutoring in all subjects, Pre-K–5th grade (Online or in-home)
~Orton-Gillingham reading intervention for any age
~Small group Zoom classes for Pre-K–1st grade
~Curriculum development and homeschool support
~Weekly homeschool meetups/field trips for students in Las Vegas
