About
Hello, I am a guitar and conducting graduate of UNLV, specializing in all advanced math subjects and test prep needs, in addition to classical guitar. I truly enjoy helping students excel. I am patient and empathetic and as former president of several clubs, I am accustomed to public speaking, being in a leadership position and helping others find their voice. I look forward to working with you or your child! I was an award winning math student at my Cambridge academy in Miami, Florida. Always top of my class, I began tutoring other students 10 years ago. I enjoy explaining all advanced subjects and am very patient and attentive to all of my students. I've helped to greatly improve grades and boost test scores!

That when I help students, I get to gradually but surely see their passion grow and their skills blossom. When a student is confident and ahead of the game in their classes, it can change their entire outlook towards school, and improves their mood, self esteem, and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges, both academically and socially.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to schedule a little time before the first lesson to get to know them and discuss their academic goals. We figure out the schedule for their class, if it’s a subject they’re currently learning in school, and determine an ideal tutoring pace that will keep the student ahead of schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For Math: 5 on AP Calculus AB, A on AICE Mathematics A Level, Perfect score of 36 on ACT Math, Perfect Scores of 800 on SAT II Math I and Math II, 7+ years of tutoring math professionally.
For Music: Bachelor’s of Arts from UNLV in Classical Guitar Performance, with training in composition, conducting, and keyboard. 5+ years of tutoring music professionally.
For TestPrep: 35/36 on ACT, 176/180 on LSAT, 2300/2400 on SAT I. 5* years of tutoring test prep professionally.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25/hour for math lessons, $35/hour for music lessons, and $50/hour for LSAT lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
In middle school, I’d usually finish my work early, and since I loved to socialize, I’d usually end up going around the class helping my peers. That naturally turned into a professional tutoring habit that has only grown since.
What types of students have you worked with?
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently helped my girlfriend’s mother open up a Vietnamese Pho restaurant here in Las Vegas. Having been privy to some of the behind-the-scenes mania in the weeks leading up to the Grand Opening, it was a thrill to see everything go smoothly on opening day, as well as the pride and satisfaction of my girlfriend’s beaming mother.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Nothing! Students should always feel free and comfortable to ask their teachers any question they think is relevant.
