About
Infinity - The Math Institute has the best results for the lowest cost. We also pay our tutors more because we only use the best educators in the area. Our tutors are all retired teachers, current teachers, and graduate college students (majoring in Math or Law). We teach the concepts, we do not simply tell you what to do to pass the test. We teach you for total comprehension so you will retain the knowledge and succeed in all your math classes, not just your current class. While we will keep you up to speed in your current class, we specialize in ensuring you have the foundation necessary to understand everything. We get F students to A's and B's, while getting A and B students into the top percentiles in the nation. We offer one on one, small group, small class, terrestrial or online tutoring. We also have Friday Fun Nights so eager learners have a fun, safe place to go on a Friday night, while surrounding themselves with other children who care about school and what's important.

My name is John and I'm the owner. I am a former High School and Middle School Math Teacher and I've been teaching for 8 years. I earned the highest GPA of anyone who took my major (Education - Secondary Math) in my school's history. I've coached MathCounts and I helped raise a school's standardized test scores 17% in a single year (while teaching 50% of the 8th grade population). No one (besides family) cares more about your child's success!
I love teaching kids! You can see our passion and enthusiasm by visiting our website, Facebook, or YouTube channels! We do more than simply teach children math, we prepare them for success (in school and beyond). We love when students realize how awesome math is and knowing how much they look forward to our sessions.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We offer a comprehensive pre assessment so we know exactly where a student is in their mathmatical journey and what foundational holes need to be filled in (or taught correctly). In most cases the preassessment permanently fills some foundational holes.
First thing to do is visit us (in person or on our website). Once you reach out to us we learn about the student and their family and their situation. This is done in person, by phone, or by email. Then we suggest a course of action dependant on the families schedule, finances, and needs/desires.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed teacher in the State of Nevada. I graduated with honors from UNLV with a bachelor of science in Education - Secondary Mathematics. I have 8 years experience tutoring and 3 years of public school experience.
