I am a creative and expierienced writer with a diverse educational and professional background. I have my bachelor's degree in Sociology, TEFL (which allows me to teach english to foreign learners, and a graduate degree in content marketing. I have a wide variety of expierience working with and teaching children aged 3-18. I am also available to teach adults. My goal with teaching is to personalize the content to each and every students needs. I understand everyone has a different learning style. As someone who really struggled with test taking and writing in high school, but was able to completely turn it around in college, I get it!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new client, I take some time to get to know them and also allow them to get to know me. I try and gain an understanding of their learning style, and how I can make them feel comfortable and confident moving forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education:
- Bachelors in Sociology
- Tefl (Teach English to Foreign Learners)
- Graduate degree in Content Marketing.
I have expierience working for a non-profit college prep organization. I provided tutoring, college prep, and test prep services. I worked with students aged 11-18
I have also taught english to Thai students in Phuket, Thailand and in China.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge etween 20-25$ and hour. If you would like ongoing lessons (over a period of time) we can discuss pricing options.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching after working for the college prep program. During my work, I discovered I aboslutely loved working with children and helping prepare them for the future. This inspired me to travel to Thailand and obtain my TEFL, officially beggining my teaching career to foreign learners.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a diverse set of students:
- Low income and underserved children aged 11-18
- Chinese speaking children aged 3-15 years old
- Thai speaking individuals aged 5-50 years old
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
