I am an educator that has a passion for learning. I believe everything students set their mind to is achievable with the right guidance and encouragement. I implement hands on approaches to learning that promote long term affects and am always willing to make changes to instruction to best fit the needs of the student and family I work with. It is my top priority to work with families and find what is right to meet their needs. Communication, patience and pure joy of learning are my strengths in teaching.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assess student readinesss, set goals and create a timeline for success. Then implement strategies and progress monitor to see if it is working. Meet with families regularly to either set new goals or continue with what works.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters degree in special education. NM level 2 teaching license with gifted endorsement.
