Rachel Sundermier

In the current school year, I am a 12:1 6th grade math teacher, and have experience working in a 7th-grade math classroom from the previous year as well as being a member of the special education team at College Point Collaborative. Throughout the four years, I have become very familiar with the curriculum that is used in the math classrooms as well as ensuring that the students are meeting the necessary grade standards for the year. I am aware of what skills students need to know and how to create engaging and interactive lessons that address those skills. . I am currently pursuing my masters in Literacy as well, and part of my program is working with elementary and middle school students privately to enhance their literacy skills.
