What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know the student and what excites them. Math is a subject that applies to everything so I work with students to figure out where Math can supplement and take passions to the next level. We work together to figure out sticking points and problem solve together to figure out a way through the problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a data scientist and use machine learning algorithms to create programs that determine strong investments. Through AP classes, a business pursuit in college, another school in data science, and a career in analytics before the pandemic.
