About
I graduated with a BA in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University and am now working on my MD. I have experience tutoring and interacting with students of all ages, and I specialize in standardized testing and math.
I believe in a growth mindset, a mindset that allows students to continually develop their talents; our abilities come from within and should not be hindered by external factors. I know that I can help my students achieve their fullest potential.

My favorite part about tutoring is seeing how much my students have grown! Knowing that I'm making tangible change in a student's learning process is most gratifying.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I work with a new student, I always speak with them to gauge their current knowledge and learning habits. I then work to curate a personalized curriculum and study plan based on their individual needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Neuroscience and Behavior at Columbia University. My high school's and Columbia's emphases on a holistic education have allowed me to cultivate not only my knowledge of STEM, but also my skills in the liberal arts. For example, Columbia requires all undergraduates to take a University Writing course as well as literature courses covering texts from Aristotle to Shakespeare to Toni Morrison.
I am also proficient in Mandarin and Spanish.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students of all ages, from elementary schoolers to high schoolers. I specialize in SAT and standardized test prep.
