About
I am an experienced tutor who works with students at every level, from elementary school through college. I tutor most academic subjects, with a particular strength in math, problem-solving, writing, SAT and College applications. As a Columbia student studying Economics and Computer Science, a Putnam competition lecturer, and a tutor for Columbia students, I bring both strong academic experience and a patient, clear teaching style.
My lessons are focused on real improvement, not just getting through homework. I have helped students go from scoring in the 50s on midterms to earning over 100% on finals and raising their overall grades dramatically. I work with elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as college students taking challenging courses.
I adapt every session to the student’s needs, whether that means rebuilding fundamentals, preparing for an exam, learning better study habits, or pushing a strong student to reach the next level. My goal is always to make difficult material feel clear, manageable, and even enjoyable.
