I'm a very personable, capable, and engaged tutor.
As a student, I know which teaching methods work, and which tend to fall short.
As a tutor, I form a unique tutoring strategy for each individual student, tailored to his or her needs and strengths. Furthermore, I improve confidence with the material, along with comprehension.
I am also a good leader. I am the national director of the largest Jewish grassroots organization for Joe Biden, I have worked for both congressional campaigns and local government officials, and I am a leader of the Model UN club, quiz bowl team, and the school newspaper.
I enjoy getting to improve the confidence of a student in a certain subject area. I understand how frusturating it can be to work at a topic and continue to struggle. So, when a student finally masters what he or she is struggling with, I, along with the student, feel successful and accomplished.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I spend the first session, or beginning of the first session, getting to know the student as an individual. This includes talking to both the student and parent to better understand how I can help, and how the student learns best. I also try and work out a scheduele and method of updating the parent on the progress of the student. After that, I begin tutoring the student, based off of where the most immediate help is needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I consistently earn top grades in all my classes, I have past tutoring experience with math, english, history, and spanish, and I also have experience babysitting.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a diverse array of students, including elementary schoolers, middle schoolers, and high schoolers.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hire someone who you will not feel judged or shamed by. Essentially, hire someone who can effectively teach you while also being friendly and personable.
