Hi, I'm Swastik - Your Pre-Algebra Tutor Who Makes Math Make Sense Getting to Know Me I'm a rising junior in high school from Princeton, New Jersey, and I'm genuinely passionate about making mathematics accessible and exciting. While I've had the incredible opportunity to work on AI cancer detection systems at Harvard Medical School and compete in global machine learning competitions, what I love most is that moment when a concept finally clicks for a student. There's nothing quite like seeing someone go from "I hate math" to "Wait, that actually makes sense!" What It's Like Working With Me My students often tell me that I'm different from ot

I've completed most of high school and all of the required courses so everything is still pretty fresh on my mind and I can help students more that way. In addition, since I'm studying in the same climate as them, I can show them ways of studying that helped me out when I was taking the courses they are now. I love teaching kids and I've done it around my neighborhood for a while. This job isn't a main source of income for me so it's really all about helping people.

Hello, my name is Linda Steele, and I am a Mother, and Grandmother who has read to her children and grandchildren countless times throughout the years, watching and helping them grow in their education and careers. Daily reading is an extremely important tool to have since it opens so many doors and windows to the world. With that being said, I would love to help other children develop this wonderful and exciting tool.

I have extensive experience tutoring middle and high school students across math, science, English, history, essay writing, and study skills, and I'm comfortable working with a wide range of levels. In addition to subject-specific tutoring, I focus a lot on organization, time management, prioritization, and study habits. I help students break assignments, tests, and projects into manageable pieces and create a clear plan so school feels less overwhelming. I've also spent the past six years working with students on standardized test prep (SAT/ACT), covering math, science, and English sections, and helping students build both the skills and c

Reviews for Trenton special education tutors

Recent success stories from people in the Trenton area.
Elizabeth N.
Since starting reading tutoring with Anne-Marie Coakley, our son has flourished! Anne-Marie took time to get to know our son early on and made an immediate connection with him, setting him at ease. He frequently mentions how awesome she is and how much fun tutoring is! Not only has his reading skills improved exponentially, but his self confidence is rising and he no longer puts himself down. He actively reads road signs and his surrounds, wants to play games that require reading, and even helps his sibling with their homework! We can tell he feels more on pace with his classmates and has excelled in other subjects too! We are so happy with our decision to hire Anne-Marie!

Thomas is an absolute godsend. My son struggles badly with math but being a computer major, there's alot of math. Thomas explains it all in a way that my son isn't just memorizing formulas, he is actually understanding it. No more math classes without Thomas!
