Sara's Tutoring
About
I love the smile that students have when the process works. I want to explain who I am. I first attended Temple University and majored in psychology with an emphasis in psycho-biology. After 3 years I left my program and started my own service business. It took 5 years to convince me that I had to go back to school. I entered Drexel University and completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I worked for General Electric but it wasn't what I wanted and I left there to work for a company that made things for aircraft, ships, satellites and space. I stayed there and pursued a master's degree in Mechanical engineering with a focus in automatic control theory. I took a job as a research engineer with the United States Navy. Focus of the job was robotics and automation. I pursued a PhD in Electrical engineering while at the Navy. I received a patent and published several times. My specific interests are: 1. Image processing and analysis. 2. Adaptive Controls and adaptive signal processing, 3. Neural Networks. 4. Robots that can autonomously navigate through a mesh of moving obsticals.
