Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I figure out how much the student already knows, so that the lesson is not redundant.
Second, I explain the concept, and go over steps and examples.
Third, I have the student work on an example on their own.
I guide/hint the students rather than giving them the answers because this helps them become more aware of the processes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 4th year college student majoring in computer engineering. I have taken all courses up to and incluing Discrete math, and I apply them constantly so I have a wide knowledge of the subjects.
