Raymer Tutoring

During our first meeting, we'll talk about what you're having trouble with and how you want to improve. Depending on the material, I usually rely on working through lots of practice. First, I will walk you through a few problems, explaining every step in my thought process. Then, we'll go through some and collaborate on how to best get to the solution. After it seems you've mastered the thought process, I'll have you walk me through a few problems, explaining to me how to do it as you go along. 

I have been tutoring for years, in a variety of subjects: biology, chemistry, math, Spanish, and writing. I have seen huge improvements in each of my students, and I would like to see that same improvement in you!

I have also taught a first grade class part time and have worked as a TA for a couple of semesters at my University, where I also work as a tutor and facilitate study groups. 

I charge $30/hour.
