We discuss the plan that will help the pupils to achieve their goal
some students need once a week tutoring for an hour to achieve their golas, some need twice a week and so on. Weaker you are in a subject more time you will need to master it
If its an essay that the students need help in, I ask the topic and the due date and ( if its a college essay then I need to know the citation style and if the students have any outside resource already collected or will need to collect).
After this I plan the number of hours required to research, write and edit an essay. It takes about 6-7 hours or more for a five page double spaced 12 font college essay.
