Brendee Solomon

In my last role as an Elementary Math Educator for Elizabeth Public Schools, I advocated, mentored, and advised 50 students each day. I specialized in creating detailed procedures to reduce redundancy, improve accuracy and efficiency, achieve organizational objectives, and engage learners.

Year after year, I built a supportive environment that assisted my students in achieving their goals by providing an empathetic and rigorous learning environment. I was continuously able to build and maintain solid relationships with my students, family members, and the community. These relationships were established through daily outreach and communication.

In 2017, I earned the Governor’s Educator of the Year Award, but could not have accomplished that achievement without community support. I also operated as an enterprise-wide leader who championed change and aligned initiatives and communications with each vision.

My background lies in creating, developing, and implementing blended mathematical learning programs and materials to facilitate participants’

education, engagement and knowledge. With my ability to assess learning needs, I excel at delivering powerful hands-on learning, while effectively driving program analyses and modifications to better meet learners’ needs.

As with all my learners, I would love to be able communicate with their classroom teacher. This builds a bridge between home and school and nurtures a successful learning path. This communication allows me to align our sessions to what is happening in the classroom.
