About
Math doesn't have to be frustrating — and with the right guidance, every student can experience the satisfaction of truly understanding it. That's what drives me.
I work with students at every level, from kindergarten through high school and into adulthood, meeting each one exactly where they are. My approach begins with a careful assessment to pinpoint precisely where a student is struggling — because treating the symptom without finding the root cause rarely works. From there, I stay with the material until the student genuinely understands it, not just memorizes it. I also align my instruction with the student's school curriculum, so that what we cover in our sessions directly supports their classroom performance and test results. Regular review is built into every engagement to make sure that understanding sticks.
The results speak for themselves. My primary long-term student has a learning disability — and despite that very real challenge, achieved straight A's in math and scored an impressive 780 on the SAT Math, a score that places them in the top 1% of test takers nationwide. That kind of outcome doesn't happen by accident. It takes patience, the right approach, and a commitment to never giving up on a student.
But honestly, what keeps me coming back is simpler than any test score. It's that moment when a student's face lights up — when something that seemed impossible suddenly clicks. That excitement is contagious, and I consider it my greatest reward.
I work primarily online, making it convenient to connect from anywhere. Whether your student is falling behind, wants to get ahead, needs support with a learning disability, or is preparing for a high-stakes exam, I bring patience, structure, and genuine enthusiasm to every session.
Let's turn math from a source of stress into a source of confidence.
