My services stand out because I have a wide range of experience in tutoring. Because I am an English Education, I am extremely familiar with any material that has to do with English or writing while being able to effectively teach this material to a student of any age or background.
I am passionate about mentoring students and guiding them to success. I have always enjoyed helping people understand something that they are having trouble with, and that has translated really well into my tutoring career.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before the session, I always like to have a preliminary meeting so we can discuss what you are looking for in a tutor! I also like to ask what type of work you are expecting from me so I can provide you with a fair rate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I just received my BA in English and am currently pursuing my MA in Education. I have four years of tutoring experience, with my clients ranging from ages 7-19. I provide help with reading, writing, assignments from ELA classes, test preparation, and essay preparation/writing.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My average price is $30-$35 a session. It really depends on the subject matter and the length of the session. My main priority is giving you a fair rate based on the amount of time I will be spending with you along with any necessary lesson preparation prior to a session.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students of all ages, from elementary school to college students. I also have experience working with students with all kinds of temperaments, including stubborn or struggling students. I always make sure to base my teaching style and lesson on the type of student I am working with.
