About
I am currently a fifth Special Education teacher, teaching students Grades 6-8. I have had experience teaching Elementary Education students. I enjoy tutoring because it allows for the one-on-one assistance which can be very beneficial to students. I currently hold three teaching certifcates from the state of New Jersey: Preschool through Grade 3, Kindergarten through Grade 5, and Students with Disabilities.
I love being able to see the students succeed each day in their different classroom settings. When a student is struggling and I can help them one-on-one to better understand the material it makes for a successful student. I enjoy doing hands on activities with students that may help to benefit the material being taught.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After a student reaches out to me I will get in contact with them over the phone to decide the best time and date to meet with them in person. We will do a trial session for a half hour to see if it is a good match between the student and myself and if we work well together then we set up a day for me to come tutor.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had experience teaching students with disabilities throughout grades Kindergarten through eighth grade. I have taught the following grade levels: Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I currently tutor elementary education students.
