Love Math

After failing two math classes he needed to graduate from college, I decided to get my son a tutor. Obviously, the two paid online math help sites did not assist him to the point of his mastering the courses. After scouring three sites, I settled on Tutors.com and was fortunate to select Cynthia Smarook based on her proximity to where I lived. She was a wonderful fit for my son, who had been diagnosed with a developmental delay which resulted in him having an Individualized Education Plan. I was impressed that she not only recognized this but asked to peruse his IEPs. This, I am sure, helped her tailor how to work with my son to ensure he understood the mathematical concepts of which he had previously struggled. Throughout the semester, I began to notice my son’s approach to math was not as foreboding and apprehensive, and he seemed more relaxed. Needless to say, he got an “A” in the course which fulfilled his last prerequisite for graduation. I wholeheartedly recommend Cynthia Smarook as a tutor. Her love of math and enthusiasm for the subject is certainly evident. Cynthia is not just a tutor, she is “The” tutor.
