When it comes to working with a new student the first thing I have to do is make sure that they feel comfortable and that that they are happy.

My education and training has been for over 20 years working in the department of education as a licensed teacher on both the General Ed and Special Ed side.  I’ve tutored for many years and find it very fulfilling to see how much I can help a child become even more successful!

I really don’t, I try to take into consideration of traveling. For example if I have to use the tolls then I try to be fair about that too. I always know times are tough and it’s not cheap to get extra help for your kids.

I was always good working with kids and I know the struggle myself about needed that extra help too at times. My teachers, for the most part, helped me feel good about myself when it came to my education. However,  I too needed some tutoring at one point and it made a big difference. I remembered how I felt to have a teacher that cared about me and I wanted to do the same for someone else. 

I’ve worked with all types of children from all different ages, backgrounds and learning capacities as well. 

When my student invited me to come to see them perform Shakespeare. I would love to read Shakespeare to my students in elementary school and have them perform the plays too.  So it was so nice to have my former student invite me to her performance
