About
Hello! My name is Luke Wickham and I am currently nearing the end of my Bachelors / Masters combined program to become an elementary school teacher at Jacksonville University. I have a passion for helping out kids who are struggling and just need a little extra push to get them going. I believe that every student shoudl get the same fair chance at life, which is why I want to have impact on early learners to prepare them for the future as best I can. This is my third year of working with elementary school students. I am extremely in tune with today's standards in the schools sytems and have successfully student taught at multiple schools in Northeast Florida. Currently I am home in New Jersey, looking to tutor children in need online.
I thoroughly enjoy when students get their "a-ha!" moment. Everyone gets them at their own time and pace. Being able to help them get there really makes it all worth it in the end.
