Aadi's Math Tutoring
About
Ever since I was very young, I have always had a burning passion for mathematics and the inner beauty behind it, and it is one of my greatest goals to help others see the beauty of mathematics. One of my main objectives in tutoring is to help students see the underlying concepts behind the formulas they are taught. Far too often, students get taught formulas with little to no insight as to where they come from, what they actually mean fundamentally, and how it can be used to derive new concepts, but I always value a concept-first approach. In fact, understanding the fundamental concepts of a topic makes it substantially easier for one to apply them in a test or in homework assignments.
Qualifications: I am currently a senior in high school who has taken many advanced math courses, acing all of them with A's. I have gotten a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam, as well as on the Calculus AB subscore. I have taken math courses up to Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra, and am currently taking a Differential Equations and Complex Analysis course. I have gotten a perfect score in the SAT Math section, as well as the SAT Math II Subject Tests and the ACT Math Section. I am also an officer for my school's Math Team, and a Math Team high scorer.
One of the biggest enjoyments of tutoring is seeing students start to really understand the big concepts behind math and why they made a mistake, or how their thought process is flawed, and how they can now approach the right answer. I think these sorts of "light-bulb" moments are really rewarding for me, as it lets me know that I have achieved one of my biggest objectives as a tutor.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken many advanced mathematics courses in my time at High School, earning an A in all of them. In addition, I have been volunteer tutoring at the local public library for about two years now, mostly on math topics. I also have been running a YouTube Channel in my free time for about four years, with physics and math videos that are easy to understand and go over difficult problems, including those at the AP level.
