Language Pro Tutoring

I am a veteran teacher with more than 20 years experience in private and public schools. I have taught both honors/advanced and remedial students. I have an undergraduate degree from a public university and a graduate degree from an Ivy League university and therefore I am thoroughly familiar with the world of education. I cover a variety of subjects including SAT Verbal preparation including the essay, Language Arts support, French and Spanish. I enjoy working with students with different learning styles. I believe that anyone who is willing to learn can learnand that "I will, persistance, and consistency are greater than "IQ". I encourage my students to develop excellent work habits while also balancing their lives because being a well developed individual is important in a competitive world. I am selective about my assignments because of the time commitments involved and I prefer to have fewer students so that I can adequately address their needs. I provide excellent support and quality materials.

I enjoy seeing students grow in their self-confidence and independence as they acquire and apply new skills. I also enjoy developing relationships with my students. Finally, I enjoy seeing my students achieve success as it relates to their unique situations.
