About
Hi! I'm an English tutor with 4 years of teaching experience and a graduate of New York University (NYU) with a degree in Business.
My goal is to help students build confidence in English while making learning engaging, approachable, and memorable. I believe students learn best when they understand the "why" behind the language, rather than simply memorizing rules.
My strongest areas are grammar, vocabulary, and writing. I help students master common grammar challenges and develop vocabulary they can actually use in real-life communication, rather than relying on memorization. For reading and writing, I assess each student's current level and create a personalized learning plan tailored to their needs and goals.
I work with middle and high school students and can provide support with school coursework, essay writing, standardized test preparation (SAT, TOEFL, PSAT), and overall English proficiency. I also expose students to a variety of topics and reading materials to strengthen both their language skills and critical thinking.
More than just a tutor, I strive to be a mentor who helps students develop confidence, curiosity, and long-term success in English. I look forward to helping your student achieve their goals!
