About
Hello! My name is Natalie and I'm a part-time English Literature and Essay Tutor! I'm from Atlanta, Georgia but I now live in the Big Apple. I graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA in June of 2020, where I majored in English and minored in Classical Civilizations. I'm now working in finance in NYC but still love to fill my spare time by helping students with their writing! I specialize in critical literary analysis, close reading, British/American literature, Classical literature, and college application essays. I've now helped a handful of family and friends with their school writing assignments/college application essays and have had tremendous results!
Because I work 9-5 during the week, I complete most of my editorial/tutoring work during weekday evenings and on weekends. I am able to work with students' particular class material to help with any stage of the writing process (i.e. brainstorming, outlining, research, structuring, editing, proofreading, etc.). As I've said before, I help students realize their unique voice in their writing, which ultimately makes their papers more memorable and personable. Please feel free to reach out to me for more information! I look forward to working together!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student and their needs are different! I first begin with an introductory session (usually a phone or video call) to get to know a little bit about the student and introduce myself. From there, we discuss where the student is seeking improvement and we can tailor a unique program to best fit his/her needs.
